Action-Packed Week

What an action-packed week. 1) Taylor is now famous after making an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's new talk show. Watch the video here starting around 31:38 to see him meekly hiding in the corner. We anticipate that this will someday appear on our VH1 Behind the Music episode just like how they always play that clip of Alanis Morisette getting slimed on "You Can't Do that on Television".

2) My brother is a finalist in a screenplay contest being held by the National Film Board of Canada. The idea is that people submit one-page screenplays and then this production company actually produces one of them. The public gets to vote on which screenplay is the best, and that's the one that gets made. He needs your help to win the contest! Check out a list of all the finalists here. Click on the video for "Don't Step on a Crack" by Brian Barnes to watch actors doing a runthrough of the script. Or shortcut to the video here. (Somehow, I am co-writer of this script without knowing it.) Then, click on the box for "Don't Step on a Crack" on the right, type in your name and email, and click submit! Go Barnes go!

3) There's a new Nine Inch Nails album coming out called "Strobe Light" which is being produced by Timbaland...oh man so sweet! Trent Reznor I've been waiting so long for you to do this! Ever since you collaborated with Dr. Dre on the Fragile I knew this was coming...ha ha...okay I'm gonna download it...wait a minute..."Pussygrinder feat. Sheryl Crow"? What the...awe man!! I got April pwned! How could you do this to me?! I shoulda known. Chris Martin, Jay-Z and Bono all on one track? Is that even chemically possible? Wouldn't Chris Martin and Bono cancel each other out? Rip a hole in the space-time continuum or something?

4) Ooh, gmail's new autopilot feature sounds really cool, lemme download that...wha?..wait a second! DAMMIT! APRIL PWNED TWICE IN ONE DAY!

5) My gf and her bff made a commercial for Google's G1 phone using a song I wrote a while ago as background music. Also I play the part of the phone. I won't say it's as good as my work in Propeller but it's definitely the third-best acting I've ever given in a film. I just hope that WALL-E doesn't sue me.

6) MiniBoone side project 21st Century Electric Peace Movement has a show at Fat Baby this Friday April 3 at 9:00 pm.

7) Oh yeah and MiniBoone had a show at Pianos on Monday. Whenever I get around to watching the video I'll put some clips up...

PEACE
