MiniBoone did some hard work in Philadelphia last weekend. Too bad you missed it. Luckily, Doug's girlfriend Dorothy took some fantastic pics. Now you don't have to wait for your Facebook feed to come up with new pictures of me because here they are, I'm just giving em away. For those of you who still NEED MORE, Dorothy uploaded a whole bunch here.
Also, we have yet another show tomorrow. There's a lot of great bands on this bill. In particular we're excited to see Quiet Loudly who have just come out with a new record with some really great songs. This is the first time we've performed with them so we're pumped to see it.

You won't leave me yet will you? Because I have other news...
1) My girlfriend is in Paris this week. While she was away I bought a Rhodes Mark I Stage Electric Piano with a leopard-print case and put it in the kitchen. I hope she likes it when she comes back.
2) I recently discovered this very fascinating blog that reviews corporate brands' logo redesigns, compares them to their old designs, and explores the implications of the redesign. Very interesting stuff. http://www.underconsideration.com/brandnew/
3) At the show in Philly, I was pleasantly surprised to be told by my friend Emily that my freshman-sophomore year roommate Ben has apparently founded his own all-male burlesque troupe in Toronto called Boylesque. I am pleased. It reminded me of the time he dressed up in leather and mesh and I took pictures of him posing on my bed.
4) For some reason I always get the Dire Straits and the Fine Young Cannibals mixed up. This is probably blasphemy to somebody. In addition, I discovered today that a melody which I play pretty much every time I sit down at a keyboard is not the melody from "Centerfold" by the J. Giles Band but actually the melody from the song "Walk of Life" by the Dire Straits. In my search for this melody I watched numerous Fine Young Cannibals videos. Is it possible that the singer for this band is the sexiest man alive?
Okay, here's "Walk of Life" too. What a great idea for a video: concert footage mixed with sports bloopers! Great song. Greatest keyboard melody ever written? At least as good as "Centerfold"?
I tried to find "Centerfold" on Youtube too but all I could find was the Alvin and Chipmunks version...
