James's Failed Blog Post + The Recent Past and Future!!!

Hey Everyone!

So a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to put up a blog post about all the shows we were about to play for the Make Music New York and Northside Festivals. I was hecka tired, and the result was the following unpublished half post:
------------------
I just spent the last 4 and a half hours putting all our shows into our myspace account and all I have ot say is I cannot wait until myspace dies. Dont get me wrong, I love feeling utterly helpless against a logic-less, terribly constructed website just as much as the next guy. But sometimes I want my friday nights back. Well, its too late now. Ok, now that I'm good and grumpy, here is what I have to say. We're playing some god damn shows alright? You may have noticed that we have a new upcoming shows section to the right with your eyes on the website, over there, where I am pointing ... ugh, does anyone else wanna take over writing this blog? Tell people we formed an llc, and about the shows next week and the tour? I'm freakin tired. James out
------------------
The reason I was so tired is because I spent the last few weeks getting THIS!!!!::::

booyah grandma. Our band is not only the proud owner of that big blue baby, but we are now also ... a corporation. Unlike most corporations though, we have no money: we spent it all on the van. Like most corporations, we do have a license to do business. We have a bank account (with no money in it), debit cards with our names and MiniBoone written on them, and a check book that we will use to start the fires that will keep us warm in the winters because we have no money.

[ fluid transitional sentence from the last paragraph to the next ]

Here's the fallout from our last week of shows: we played with a ton of great bands, lost a lot of equipment, and gained an ACTUAL MINIBOONE FAN. Check it, if you are reading this and you are not our moms, then you may be our very first fan. Last week, some dude, a dude that we did not know prior, saw us play at Public Assembly, and then came back the next day to see us play at Spike Hill. What a guy!!! Fan-man, if you are reading this, you broke our fan-ginity. We hope its as special for you as it was for us.

Speaking of us, us have more shows coming up. Here is a poster Sam made for the tour.

For more info on the exact times and who we are playing with check out our upcoming shows section or check out or myspace page. Oh yeah, and then there's the boat show coming up, but we'll tell you about that next time. Alright, good bye.

- James
